Eminem Releases Full Marshall Mathers LP II Album Stream for FREE
Stream of Eminem's "Marshall Mathers LP 2" now available for free on iTunes!
Since Eminem's highly anticipated album MMLPII has already leaked online, Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, attempted to stop people from streaming it or downloading it illegally by letting go a free iTunes stream of the album. Good move.
The stream is only available in the U.S., so if that's where you're located, click HERE
PS: Some albums you just don't bootleg... unless you really can't afford them. If you can afford a few beers Saturday night, if you can afford to smoke and do other stupid shit, OR have a woman, you can also afford to buy this album. OUT NOVEMBER 5th!
Rap fans should get excited, says Joe Budden of Slaughterhouse
With The Marshall Mathers LP 2 album release around the corner, Slaughterhouse member Joe Budden has offered a take on what Eminem is going to deliver.
In Budden's opinon, Shady's upcoming LP will be a rap fan's dream come true.
Thus far, Em has dropped a few singles for the lyrical nerds, including the most recent "Rap God." "I think this is for rap fans," Joe Budden explained. "I think that he's been inspired as of late and I know he's been working really hard. I know he has an overabundance of records to choose from and they're all rap. You can tell that even from the records released like 'Berzerk'-- a real old school Beastie Boys kinda feel, and 'Rap God' -- where he's just rapping for six minutes straight." "He even dyed his hair back to blond, so he's going back to an earlier time, and I think fans will look forward to that." (MTV)
"Right now, I'm probably working harder than I've ever worked in my life," says a sleep-deprived Eminem, gulping diet Red Bull in his suburban Detroit studio. He's well past deadline ("They keep telling me a different day," he says) on his new album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 -- out November 5th -- and the final mixes still aren't quite done. "Aside from around the time of The Eminem Show, when I was also doing the 8 Mile movie and soundtrack and score and shit like that. This is probably the equivalent of that, but all focused on the record."
Eminem has released the song titles and features of the deluxe version of "The Marshall Mathers LP 2".
The fact that the project featured five bonus selections was announced last week (October 17), while the song titles were revealed today.
The deluxe version includes two featured acts, Sia on "Beautiful Pain" and Jamie N Commons on "Desperation." The remaining song titles on the deluxe edition are reported to be "Baby," "Groundhog Day" and "Wicked Ways."
Eminem teased the release on Facebook where he was going to reveal five clues about the song. However, before he could get past clue number one "Rap God" leaked in Europe and has been since made available on iTunes. While his first single "Berzerk" played over a rock-infused backdrop courtesy of legendary producer Rick Rubin, "Rap God" centers around Eminem's cutthroat lyricism and a menacing bounce of a beat that follows his rapid delivery.
Rather than give his chorus to an R&B singer like Rihanna or the Liz Rodrigues, the latter of whom sang on his recent MMLP2 single "Survival," he instead delivers a straight rap refrain about feeling like a rap deity, and raps one of the final verses at the song's 4:20 mark at warp speed. Some are saying it's the best rapping they've ever heard.
