Even 50 Cent has to listen to his boss
The rapper revealed Monday he was planning to release another album July 18 until higher powers stepped in.
"Em didn't agree with me," 50 said of his Shady Records boss while on the set of Mary J. Blige's "Enough Cryin' " video. "My motivation wasn't really right. I get a little frustrated from time to time and I got so much material that I make that isn't being heard that I was like, 'Yo, I just wanna release an album again.' And he was like, 'Nah, you gotta wait.' I don't care about none of that [timing], I just want the record to go out, but it just makes better sense to take our time and re-create the new album." |

Obsessed Eminem fan accused of another murder
|
|
[27. Jan. 06] A convicted murderer obsessed with Eminem is now a suspect in another murder in London.
Christopher Duncan, a 21-year-old whose obsession with Eminem went so far that he had identical tattoos to the rapper, is being looked at for the murder of Margaret Muller, an American artist who was stabbed to death in Victoria Park, East London, in 2003.
Duncan, who was sentenced to life in prison in December for the murder of a law student, in an incident eerily similar to Eminem's song "Stan," was taken from prison for questioning at a London police station, where he is currently being held. |

Eminem wedding - Today, Jan 14th
|
[Jan 14th, 06] On a June afternoon in 1999, Marshall Mathers married Kimberly Scott in a small ceremony kept painstakingly private -- an act of showbiz image control to nurture the rapper's rising fame. At 5 p.m. today in Rochester Hills, where the since-divorced couple are planning to remarry, the ceremony will again be small and painstakingly private -- this time because Eminem's huge fame demands it. After a month-long public guessing game and intense secrecy by Detroit's biggest music star, sources said Friday that the venerable Meadow Brook Hall will be the site of the year's first big celebrity wedding and reception. Eminem and Kim apply to re-marry
|
|
The marriage application is basic: Marshall Bruce Mathers III. Kimberly Anne Mathers. Macomb County, Michigan.
The wedding, however, isn't so cut and dried.
On Monday afternoon at the Macomb County clerk's office, the woman known to legions of hip-hop fans as simply "Kim" -- ex-wife of Eminem -- submitted her license application for a Michigan marriage -- to Eminem. |

Eminem's music allegedly used as U.S. torture device
|
OK, first off... LMFAO KABUL, Afghanistan -- A human rights group is alleging the United States operated a secret prison near Afghanistan's capital as recently as last year. The group claims that music by Eminem and Dr. Dre were used as instruments of torture. New York-based Human Rights Watch has issued a report saying the United States operated a secret prison in Afghanistan and tortured detainees. The report quoted an Ethiopian-born detainee as saying he was kept in a pitch-black prison and forced to listen to Eminem and Dr. Dre’s rap music for 20 days before the music was replaced by "horrible ghost laughter and Halloween sounds." |

Eminem says he's back with his ex-wife Kim
|
|
[December 7, 2005] Sure, he's talked about killing her, and labeled her an unfit mother, but Eminem still wants to work things out with ex-wife Kim Mathers.
On Tuesday [December 6], the rapper told Detroit radio station WKQI-FM's "Mojo in the Morning" show that he and Kim are once again a couple, and are considering getting remarried, according to The Associated Press.
"We have reconciled and are probably going to marry," Em said on the show, during which he also referred to Kim as "my wife Kim." He and Kim were married in 1998 and divorced in 2001. They have a daughter, Hailie, who has also been the subject of a few of Eminem's tracks. |

Eminem impersonator faces life sentence
|
|
LONDON (AP) - An Eminem impersonator who beat a woman to death and stuffed her body in a suitcase - a scene reminiscent of the rapper's ``Stan'' video - is facing life in prison.
Christopher Duncan, 21, has the same hair color, style and tattoos as the rapper. Duncan pleaded guilty Thursday to killing Jagdip Najran, 26, a law student and aspiring singer.
They met at a karaoke bar last year, where Najran was smitten after watching Duncan perform, a prosecutor said. Duncan took Najran back to his apartment and beat her over the head with an iron baseball bat until she fell unconscious, then stuffed her body into a suitcase.
Medical experts testified she stayed alive for at least an hour after being struck. Duncan reportedly told police he was high on Ecstasy and LSD at the time.
In the video for ``Stan,'' an obsessive fan ties up his girlfriend, throws her in the trunk of his car and drives it over a bridge.
Duncan was to be sentenced Monday. A call to Eminem's publicist in Los Angeles was not immediately returned.
